Wooden Clock

A wooden clock will often be purchased in an ornate antique style. Cherry, pine, and walnut are just a few materials which may be used in their creation. Traditional clocks range in such styles as grandfather, carriage, and even sundial.

One of the greatest things about wooden clock options is their ability to integrate ornate sculptural elements. Commonly recognized historical examples which make use of this include cuckoo clocks. Many others may simply integrate a clock's face into a non-moving but beautifully-carved sculpture.

A wooden clock may also be selected from more contemporary styles. Some may mix wood elements with glass and metal for elegant, abstract design. Today, it is even possible to purchase a digital clock whose LED lights shine through a thin, wooden surface.
