Digital Clocks

Digital clocks display time digitally as opposed to through the use of hands. Electronic drives are used in their design. Analog styles, on the other hand, may make use of more mechanical operation.

Digital clocks are very popular for a number of reasons. For instance, they are generally very small and inexpensive to program. This means that they can easily be incorporated into the designs of other appliances. Many people also prefer them to analog options because they can be easier to read.

Of course, digital clocks do have their disadvantages. Some designs are very difficult to set. In fact, there have been many VCR and car jokes related to the struggle of setting the clock. Many of these clocks rely upon the electrical grid for power. This means that when they are moved or when the power goes out they are often reset.
